Feature requests

This feature would allow a merchant/admin to change when the emails go out to customers. e.g. If I want the reminder to go out 8 hours before the experience time vs 24 hours, then I want to be able to change that.

Allow merchants to mark an experience as ticketed which allows customers to assign and send tickets to other attendees, and gives the merchant the ability to check in using the mobile check in app

Right now time slots that are sold out are still visible and clickable which is frustrating to customers since they assume that if they click on a time slot in the calendar widget, there will be availability when they get to the booking page. We need to make the sold out timeslots disabled and more clearly indicative that there's no availability remaining.

Ability to duplicate events for faster event creation.

Allow events to be sent to Zapier so that other apps can hook into things happening inside of the Experiences App System

Right now is that there is no way to tell which slots are overbooked unless you go into every time slot to check (the can be dozes or more per day) or export all the bookings. Exporting to check overbooking is really not ideal as people continue to book and the list keeps updating in real time. Waiting until the day of the event to pull the final roster (export) to check overbooking will be too late for merchants to reach out to customers to adjust their time slots.

As a merchant, I want a customer to be able to book up to X amount slots but once they've booked a time slot, that time is no longer available to other customers outside their group even if they haven't booked the full limit. e.g. "I offer private tours for up to 12 people but even if a group of 4 books the 1 pm time slot, it's marked as sold out since it's a private tour." Why this feature? Because people want to bring private groups of people (business, family, school, etc) to an experience that doesn't include other members of the general public. This is a known pattern for experiential commerce and it's reasonable to offer private experiences. Possible features to comment on: Should the public be able to close out any time slot or do they have to request it first and the store admin can grant it? Does any time slot with at least one booking remove itself from being bookable by a group? (This seems fair to that one person in our opinion. However, a store admin could request to move that person to another date and then allow a group to book that now open time slot) As a merchant, do you want to set aside certain time slots for groups only? As a merchant, do you want to restrict certain peak times from being purchased by a group? As a merchant, do you want to charge a premium for groups to buy out a time slot? This may be appropriate where you allow a group of (let's say) 10 to close out a time slot that could accommodate 25 people. What do you think about the way Airbnb does it? We recently set the limitation that experience start and end times must be within the same date to account for a number issues regarding creating schedules. It seems like this is overly limited and prevents merchants from offering experiences that go into the early morning (e.g. 8pm - 2am). We'll need to add back this functionality in a way that doesn't cause the original issues.

As a merchant I want to be able to select a booking for experience A and be able to transfer them to a time slot on experience B.

Being able to sell an experience where products are either shipped ahead of time, picked up on-site, or simply used onsite at the time of the experience, would be great. This would require that we can gather shipment information for an order and/or each attendee during the checkout process if it's a product to be shipped ahead of time. Basic requirements If there's an experience (virtual or in-person), the customer provides their shipping information in the checkout so the merchant can fulfill that order using Shopify's built-in shipping tools. For these experiences, if there are individual attendees besides the purchaser, shipping information would need to be provided for that attendee. This would apply anytime there are multiple attendees for a booked experience. Stretch goals: The products being sold along with the experience are Shopify-managed inventory The merchant can choose to offer a product or no product purchases as a variant in the experience. e.g. the variants in a virtual cooking class might be "Class only $35" or "Class + Ingredient Kit $95" Variants with products attached can have a sale date limitation where a certain amount of days are required to ship the product before the experience slot time.
